The episode warns against repeating historical injustices of labeling scholars as heretics. Difference is divine, and many great Muslim figures were persecuted simply for thinking freely.

A Verse on the Forehead of the Revolution
 By Dr. Zaher Badaraani
Verse: “And they say, ‘None shall enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian.’ These are their desires. Say, ‘Produce your proof, if you are truthful.’”

In this episode, Dr. Zaher continues discussing the danger of labeling and takfir (declaring others disbelievers). History is filled with great Muslim thinkers who, because they thought differently, were accused of heresy and suffered greatly for it. These include:

- Abu Dharr al-Ghifari – exiled
- Imam Abu Hanifa – imprisoned, tortured, and poisoned
- Imam Ahmad – flogged and jailed
- Ibn Taymiyyah – imprisoned and executed
- Averroes (Ibn Rushd) – exiled
- Al-Hallaj – executed and burned
- …and many others

These were scholars, thinkers, and reformers, yet they were persecuted for challenging the dominant narratives of their times. The Quran reminds us that human differences are natural and willed by Allah:
“And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one nation; but they will not cease to differ—except those upon whom your Lord has bestowed mercy.”
