A Verse on the Forehead of the Revolution – Episode 26

Accepted prayer comes with humility and good deeds—helping others sincerely. But fake piety harms. What you truly do for Allah, you'll find with Him when you need it most.

*A Verse on the Forehead of the Revolution
Title: “Whatever Good You Send Forth for Yourselves, You Will Find It with Allah”
With Dr. Zaher Baadarani

The verse today:
*“Establish prayer and give zakat. Whatever good you send forth for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah sees what you do.”*

This verse gives two examples of deeds that will be rewarded by Allah: prayer and charity. But not every person who prays is truly praying—only the one who prays with humility, avoids sin, shelters the stranger, feeds the hungry, clothes the poor, and comforts the afflicted, all sincerely for Allah.
That is the prayer Allah accepts and rewards.

True prayer is not just physical motions. When someone says “he shelters the stranger,” we are reminded of some Arab governments—like Egypt—who prevent Syrians from entering or force them out.
Their prayers, instead of benefiting them, become a curse and a witness against them.
Many pray while their prayer curses them—because they do not understand the unity and sincerity prayer requires. Hence, Allah reminds us: “Whatever good you send forth for yourselves…” means that sincere deeds done for God will surely be rewarded—not only in the Hereafter but even when one most needs it in this life.
