The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) was founded in early 2012, following personal visits I made to northern Syria, just months after I left the capital, Damascus.
It was officially registered in the United States (where I reside) on 13/11/2012, at precisely 3:54:18 PM.
The founders agreed on the name “Syrian Future Movement (SFM),” and we subsequently registered it in several other capitals, making it one of the very first civil political movements to emerge in the early months and years of the Syrian revolution.
