Syrian society is generally a patriarchal one, shaped by the historical context of the broader region and reinforced by inherited traditions and customs.

This dynamic has been further entrenched by the policies of the Syrian regime since the era of Hafez al-Assad and his son.

Despite the Syrian society's interaction with global awakening movements and calls for women to attain their rights in the modern era, the path toward empowering Syrian women remains in its early stages.

We firmly committed itself to advancing the empowerment of Syrian women, recognizing them as an active and influential component of the nation.

Our aim in empowering Syrian women is to uphold and strengthen family values, as the woman is the foundational pillar of the family structure.

The more aware and free the woman is, the stronger and more stable the family becomes.

We strive to provide high-quality educational opportunities for all Syrian women, without discrimination.
We also seek to encourage them to acquire diverse skills and knowledge across multiple fields.

We support the participation of Syrian women in political and diplomatic life, encouraging them to move into leadership roles.

We call for their involvement in decision-making processes and stress that their voices must not be ignored.

We support their engagement in all political affairs and seek to empower their effective participation in building a civil and democratic state.

We believe it is essential for Syrian women to retain their national identity while deepening their sense of self-worth and uniqueness.

We stress the need to ensure equal opportunities for women in the labor market especially in business and industry and we advocate for encouraging them to launch their own projects, providing support and promoting them locally and globally.

We work to enable women to practice their religious rituals freely, in a moderate and realistic environment, far from the surveillance and influence of security agencies.

We strive to raise awareness about women's rights and to combat gender-based violence.
We are committed to offering necessary support to women who suffer from domestic, sexual, political, or other forms of abuse.

We recognize the importance of providing women with access to healthcare services, including education on sexual and reproductive health, and ensuring their access to essential medical care.

We aim to change societal perceptions of women by eliminating superstitions and inherited cultural practices that conflict with sound moral and religious values.
We encourage society to value the role of women and their contributions to development and public service.

We focus on monitoring the challenges that threaten Syrian women and work to propose realistic solutions through our programs, including supporting and promoting all forms of female volunteer work.

We believe in the necessity of coordinated efforts among the state, civil society, international institutions, and the global community to empower Syrian women through sustained and continuous action.

We aim, through the renewed vision of the Syrian woman, to raise a generation that is enlightened in thought, pure in spirit, and ambitious in drive—seeking to build a pioneering and civilized society.

We seek international cooperation to elevate the status of women from ethical, human, and religious perspectives, and to design leading global initiatives for the family, women, and children.
