Political Subordination

"A political paper calling to liberate Syria’s national course from both internal and external political subordination, while preserving political diversity under a unified national interest".

In political work, perceptions differ; thus, currents and parties vary—right-wing, left-wing, and otherwise.

There is no doubt that such diversity is an enrichment and growth for society and a sign of the soundness of the state’s body.

The alignment of goals within the national direction remains the thread that ties all these differences together, placing them within the circle of healthy and necessary diversity.

Hence, the national direction becomes like a river fed by diverse political tributaries, flowing into it to increase its strength and renewal.

For this reason, it is incumbent upon politicians and statesmen to safeguard their state from any political subordination in favor of external entities.

From here, we seek to focus on liberating the national direction from political subordination.

We differentiate between cooperation based on mutual interests with non-Syrian states, groups, and entities, and subordination to them through erasing the national identity and shifting it from the framework of peer cooperation to a state of submissive dependency.

We believe in the right of all Syrians—entities or individuals—to have regional or even international extensions and depth.

This should not, by its mere occurrence, be considered a charge of betrayal or espionage, but rather a source of strength, a key to relationships that serve the homeland, and bridges connecting peoples—unless proven otherwise.

We believe that the free politicians and genuine entities act in the interest of their homeland and people.

If they deviate from this task and prioritize foreign interests for political reasons or similar, they will become a curse upon themselves and their homeland.

That is a grave betrayal that must be rejected and held accountable following the law.

We see that Syrian political diversity must not stray from serving the Syrian people and the nation.
The current de facto authorities have become politically subordinated to foreign powers—they have lost themselves and caused others to be lost.
We are at a critical turning point in Syria’s history, and there is still time to return to the national path before it is too late.

We believe that the borders drawn by Sykes-Picot were not established by the will or desire of the people, but they are a reality.
Attempting to break free from them toward transborder political projects is but the fragmentation of an already fragmented reality—a notion we firmly reject.

We believe that achieving any noble international goal does not mean destroying the homeland or becoming subordinated to foreign powers. There is no success for the whole unless the part succeeds. Therefore, liberating the national direction is a duty and necessity—even for internationalist currents!

We believe that political subordination can be internal, not just external—and this is no less dangerous! Internal subordination fractures the people, turning them against each other, grouping them into hostile political projects, and possibly clustering them into defeated minority coalitions or deluded majority blocs.

This undermines both the nation and its citizens.

We strive to reinforce the national direction, strengthen it, and protect it from collapse.
We work with all patriots to elevate its structure, without fearing any political orientation so long as it preserves the national direction.

We extend our hand to all Syrian individuals and entities concerned with public affairs, aiming to enhance the authenticity of the national direction and liberate it from any internal or external political subordination.
