International and Foreign Relations

"International relations are based on respect, cooperation, and solidarity to achieve security and peace, with a need for UN reform and support for the Palestinian cause".

The world today appears to be divided into two major blocs on the level of states and groups:

one founded on mutual respect and cooperation, and the other built on a backdrop of civilizational and existential conflict.

Between these two, we firmly stand with the former bloc, as it represents the trajectory of human civilizational progress that guarantees safety and security for humanity especially in light of the increasing spread of destructive weaponry in human hands.

Therefore, we seek to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between nations and peoples on the basis of solidarity and complementarity not conflict and alienation.

We believe that achieving internal national cohesion through the proper establishment of the principle of citizenship is the correct path to confronting both internal and external challenges.

We call for relations with all nations and peoples of the world, as well as with international bodies, institutions, and organizations, to be based on the principles of respect, equality, and solidarity so as to achieve cooperation and integration and to affirm human brotherhood and civilizational harmony.

We are firmly against aggression toward others, interference in the internal affairs of other nations, and the imposition of political, economic, cultural, or religious hegemony under any pretext or justification.

We believe in the need to invest in the United Nations and work toward its reform, enabling it to fulfill its central role in overseeing and implementing the very principles on which it was founded.

We stress the importance of reforming the United Nations Security Council in particular, so that it may serve as a mechanism to regulate human conflict and prevent its escalation.
It must become a true representative body of all continents and civilizations. Specifically, we call for a reform of the so-called “veto power,” which currently undermines the democratic nature of the UN General Assembly.

We call for a thorough review and reassessment of many international treaties and agreements that were formulated under specific historical circumstances, so they may be rendered fair and aligned with the shared interests of peoples across time and space.

We are committed to preserving the Syrian people's rightful access to the water resources of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and to taking the necessary steps to ensure this right is safeguarded.

We advocate for the establishment of lasting good-neighborly relations, the strengthening of ties, the removal of obstacles, and the resolution of disputes to help foster balanced and sustainable regional security.

We call for attention to be given to strategic technological, industrial, and technical development as a foundation for various industries. We especially emphasize investment in solar energy to meet diverse needs, as it contributes to national security and stabilizes citizens in their homeland—preventing forced migration that threatens both regional and global peace, security, and balance.

We support the restructuring of the Syrian Armed Forces—its personnel, weaponry, and military doctrine—so that its primary mission becomes national defense, protection, and deterrence against any external military aggression.

We affirm that the Palestinian cause requires continuous efforts to end the ongoing and escalating suffering. We view it as a central factor behind the instability of the entire region.
We reject the notion of “establishing” a Palestinian state—for it already exists as a legitimate and rightful entity.
Rather, we call for its empowerment, support, and advancement, and for Jerusalem to be recognized as its capital, with the right of return guaranteed for all Palestinians.

We emphasize the necessity of supporting the efforts of the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Jerusalem Committee in resolving the Palestinian issue.

We call for correcting the current trajectory of the Arab League so that it may fulfill the objectives for which it was founded—becoming a unifying institution that prevents discord, manages differences constructively, and guarantees the safety of states and the stability of their peoples.

We urge both the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to open their doors to researchers, scholars, and thinkers, allowing them to contribute to the revival and renewal of these organizations and to their influence among the people.

We support the legitimate right of all peoples around the world to seek liberation and independence through all just and lawful means of resistance.
We uphold the right of peoples to self-determination and affirm our support for their revolutions in pursuit of freedom, democracy, dignity, and resistance against injustice and tyranny.

We call for global cooperation to preserve the environment and protect the planet from destruction.

We strive to work with others toward the goal of ridding the Middle East of weapons of mass destruction, including chemical weapons, and we call on all nations to join the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
